Adobe InDesign Level 1

The course uses a combination of lecture, hands-on practice, and independent exercises to teach Students to introduce students to the
basics of InDesign. In day one, you explore the environment, work with multi-page documents, explore typesetting techniques, and work
with text, graphics, and layers on a page. Creating PDFs and preparing documents for commercial printing is also covered.
In day two, you apply some of the more advanced features of InDesign for creating more sophisticated documents. Students learn effective
document lay out, how to use vector paths, and how to manipulate typography and graphics. Working with tables and editing type is covered. In addition, features for long documents such as indexes and table of contents are included.
