Opening the channels between the spirit realm and the mundane through art and ritual, through shamanic journey. A listening practice, a celebration and a love of life.

All art is sacred.

Art is the careful process of listening to the sacred, receiving and then then finding a language with which to share it with others. We may encounter source through spontaneous vision, shamanic journey or ecstatic communion with nature. We all find our Way to listen and our own language with which to share.

We do share and then life around us begins to shine.

When art is practiced with intention, it becomes ritual, thetimeless creative expression that people have been holding in sacred space for centuries. It is a way to honor life and give more power to the things that we love.

All Mediums Welcome (that can be expressed in a workshop): dance, song, music, drawing, humming, sculpture, poetry, prose...you name it.

Topics Covered:
- Basic Shamanic Journey
- Recovering our artistic soul from the past.
- Encountering ourselves as a vessel for the Sacred.
- Unraveling harmful perceptions of art, tracking where they came from.
- Come to experience art with compassion.
- Creating together.
- Approaching the process with curiosity, gratitude + joy.
- Input from Spirit: journeying for vision, technique and inspiration
- Art as Sacred: talisman, altar, devotional offering.

Review of Art thru the Shamanic Lens: Finding our Sacred Passion , September 30, 2009

Tasara brings a blended view (Shamanism, Magic, practical) and experience to the shamanic world. She is able to move from the realms of shamanism to the realm of technology and the ordinary. She patiently walks a person through their first faltering steps while working with experienced and sometimes recalcitrant individuals with patience and grace.

Review of Art thru the Shamanic Lens: Finding our Sacred Passion , September 28, 2009

Jen has a compassionate gift for understanding each person in a group, and facilitating the group so it works synergistically. I have discovered parts of myself that were obscured, and delighted to be freed, as have the others in our group. Jen sees deep into people, and into the energy of the group, and into the deeper meaning and higher purpose of the group. She is de-light-ful. Make sure you spend some time in her classes or events!!!
