There is a magic to painting with melted beeswax that just has to be experienced to understand. You do not need to think of yourself as an artist as the process just brings that out in you as you do it. The abstract results are so fun to do and within a very short time you can also do landscapes with ease. The hot iron does so much of the work that you find it very relaxing and a child like fun begins to rise up in those who work with this. I like say it is advanced Kinder garden for the look I see that the students show in their faces.
In the short class time period we will do not only the abstracts, but several different landscape designs. You will learn how to combine rubber stamps and this wax process and you will see how this works with photographs as well. A sumi process is done with wax painting pads and mono printings is also covered. Collage is a natural with wax and once you begin you find that the possibilities are endless.
If you have been looking for a fun outlet do give this a try. It is also very addictive, so beware you may get the wax bug as I have.
All the supplies are included in the class fee of $ 70.00 for the 4 hour class
