Program & Operational Vision

Our program and operational vision is to provide the highest quality Boys & Girls Club programming possible; providing outreach services to serve additional youth while always maintaining a fun, safe and positive environment at all Club locations.

Education & Career Development

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue works to ensure the integration of structured educational programming that includes, dedicated homework assistance, technology exposure, and literacy through the Project Learn program. Additionally, the Club provides programmatic resources for career exploration, job readiness and exposure to options for further education or vocational training.

Health & Life Skills

The Club offers a series of programs designed to empower members to be more self-sufficient within their lives. The Club introduces life-skills including cooking classes, financial awareness and competencies as well as conflict resolution. All of these programs are designed to increase a child’s sense of competency as they master individual skills that can be used in every day life.

Character & Leadership Development

The Club provides opportunity for members to have a positive impact in their local community. Through service based program, members will become active members of their City. The Club also provides small-group prevention based programming to address issues of self-esteem, drug and alcohol awareness and self-image.

The Arts

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue embraces a Fine Arts program that celebrates Art through mediums such as dance, cultural and visual arts, music, and literature. The Club will collaborate with the local Art community to establish mentors, public art displays and community based projects. Members will also participate in a series of National art exhibitions through Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Sports, Fitness & Recreation

The Club continues to run one of the largest athletic programs, for a Boys & Girls Club, in the nation. In addition to a variety of organized sports, the Club also incorporates a variety of competitive and non-competitive athletic based activities to encourage all members to adopt a fit and healthy lifestyle. Club leagues focus not only skill development, but are also designed to teach sportsmanship, teamwork and fair play.
