Summer Dream Team Cheer Squad

Starting July 02, 2010

Subject: Cheerleading

Dream Team is a beginning-to-intermediate level perfomance cheer squad. We focus on dance, beginning tumbling, and some beginning stunting. Dream Team performs at events all over the community including halftime at a University of Washington basketball game, the Opening Ceremonies of the regional Special Olympics of Washington, and halftime at Seattle Storm games. Dream Team is for cheerleaders ages 7 to 18. Dream Team and Power Squad run continuously and cheerleaders can participate all year long. Summer Dream Team focuses more on stunting and tumbling and is a four-class session.

The cost for each 4-class session of Dream Team is $42 for Bellevue residents and $46 for non-residents. Scholarships are available for Bellevue residents who qualify. The 2008-2009 sessions start dates are as follows: September 19 November 7 January 9 February 27 April 17 June 26

I have been coaching cheerleading since 1999. I have my own recreation cheer program through the Bellevue Parks Department, and I have also coached high school, middle school, all-star, and semi-pro cheer. I was named the Washington State Cheer Coaches Association Rec Coach of the Year in 2010. My rec cheer program, Eastside Dream Elite, has teams for kids ages 5-18, as well as a team for developmentally disabled adults ages 16 and up.
