• Introduction to partner and group dancing.
Tribal Belly Dance Improv & Choreography (Phase 2)
90 minutes $15 drop in
*Best taken after the completion of Phase 1 or in conjunction with
Tuesdays 7:30pm-9:00pm
Saturdays 11:00am-12:30pm
• Drill basic steps and their variations in creative combinations.
• Learn improvisational partner and group dance, plus a full choreography.
• To take this class you must understand partner and group dancing (Phase 1, above.)
• Twelve-week cycle.
• Students will have performance opportunities (not required)
Classes are taught by Katrina, the Artistic Director of Skin Deep Dance Co.
Katrina is a certified American Tribal Style Belly Dance Instructor.

Review of Tribal Bellydance Classes ( Belly Dance ), October 27, 2009
I have found a second home at Skin Deep Dance. Hands down, Katrina is the best instructor and a joy to learn from. Katrina has created an incredibly balanced environment, where learning is fun, even paced, artistic and expressive! From my first lesson, I knew I would be back again and again. I have seen myself grow under her instruction in a way that amazes me. I love that she gently corrects the students and coaxes us to move our bodies in ways, we never thought we could! If you have any interest in belly dance, this is the place to come!

Here’s a few of the many reasons why I like to take classes at Skin Deep; This style of dance is more grounded, you’re always dancing in a group which is fun; you can go at your own pace and Katrina will teach you the finer details of your moves depending on your level; dance socials outside of class; You get to learn about the other Tribal events in the area and outside; her students are great; yoga.
Oh yeah, very important. The music! I like the music in class. If we can dance to it well, we play it.
