Originally from the Boston area, Jon Arkin is a professional drumset artist with 20+ years playing experience and a formal training in music education & performance. He currently works as a freelance musician in the Bay Area, as well as performing & touring with the afrobeat group Albino!, pianist Adam Shulman, guitarist Matthew Charles Heulitt, and singer-songwriter Rachel Efron. Along with his private teaching experience, he is a faculty member of the Stanford Jazz Workshop and the Berkeley Jazzschool.
