Over the course of this 3 week class, I'll walk you through installing WordPress, creating pages/posts, finding and adding themes, navigating the world of plugins, and more. At the end of this 3-week class, you WILL have a published website or blog.
Important! In order to learn online with me, you'll need the following:
* A broadband internet connection
* Either a landline phone, cell phone, or Skype
* The Yugma client (free) for screensharing

* Posts & Pages: the difference, and working with both
* Adding media to pages and posts
* Using HTML/CSS in posts
* Adding and working with categories
* Adding and working with tags
* Managing WordPress users
* Creating protected posts
* Managing comments & spam
* Finding, installing, and changing themes
* Finding, installing, and working with plugins
* Creating pretty permalinks
* Making "sticky" posts
* Working with "widgetized" sidebars
* Modifying WordPress themes
* Backing up and upgrading WordPress

Leslie was perfect for my start in learning Dreamweaver. She was patient and very knowledgeable about the subject. She was willing to work around my schedule when others wouldn't. I would strongly recommend her for anyone that may not be able to make it to a schedule structured class.

Leslie Rocks! We organized our first class yesterday and within the training I think I saw sparks fly. Leslie was patient, knowledgeable, clear and a great listener. I had the weight of fear about CSS on my shoulders before my class and afterward I felt like a guru of sorts. I strongly recommend Leslie to any level user. I wanted this training to clear up the holes I had in my knowledge of CSS. My efforts in the past to learn were self-taught and while I've built a few sites I was still very unsure about my knowledge as a whole. Leslie filled in the cracks for my skills that will from now on be ROCK SOLID!!!! Thanks you so much Leslie!
