Besides being a brilliant cellist and musician, Professor Cheifetz is an
outstanding teacher. His knowledge, understanding, patience, compassion, superior diagnostic ability to name a few, through the rough times and the joyous, have given me a broader understanding and feeling for music than ever before starting my lessons and hallelujah (!) it keeps on growing.Besides being a brilliant cellist and musician, Professor Cheifetz is an

I have been taking cello lessons from Professor Cheifetz for one year. This process of a weekly lesson one on one with the Professor is inured with the great tradition of how the cello is best taught.My experiance from these lessons has brought about a deep love for the cello and a sense of satisfaction knowing that I am learning a wonderful instrument from one of the most gifted teachers and cello players alive.
