Getting the Most out of your MAC

Apple Computers
My thrill comes from teaching MAC users to get the most out of their computers. Many people don't realize that their computer is more than just a word processing and email machine. I work closely with my users by putting them in the drivers seat and showing them all the amazing stuff they can do on their computer. From simple school presentations to creating professional websites. I show them how to create movies in iMovie, and how to add effects that make their creations stand out. The best reward I get is the look of joy on their faces after they've composed their very first song in GarageBand when 5 minutes before they never even knew what a "chord" was. In a few months they've mastered their own music and I'm ready to move them up to a professional music program Logic Express and Logic Studio. Photographers easily learn digital photography management and editing skills in programs like Aperture and iPhoto. It's also great teaching people how to save money by using applications such as Skype. For business professionals I teach them the tools they need to set up eCommerce solutions, create outstanding presentations in Keynote and create organized data in iCal, Address Book and Mail. Placing your student in the drivers seat enables them to be fully functional both from a business and problem solving point of view. It also helps them remember so much more of what they have learned instead of watching somebody else do it. I look forward to teaching each and every time I do it and I'm glad to have worked with the unique bunch of talented people that have come to me through Teachstreet.com
