Our Intermediate Fireworks CS3 class picks up where our Introduction to Fireworks CS3 leaves off. The student builds more complex and sophisticated graphics and we focus more on the vector drawing tools included in Fireworks. Students learning cloning, masking and the use of custom patterns as background graphics. Other topics include the use of symbols and roundtrip editing between Fireworks and Dreamweaver. Once again with the release of Adobe Fireworks CS4 come more complex capabilities for processes and workflows between Adobe products. This class may be customized.
Class Objectives:
* Create and edit vector paths precisely and efficiently using the Pen and Subselection tools
* Wrap text on a path and convert text to paths
* Sharpen images and improve their contrast precisely
* Create image effects such as cloning, masking, and patterns
* Create and edit complex rollover behaviors, including multi-state navigation bars and drop-down lists
* Use instances of symbols throughout a Website, and modify the original symbol to update all instances
* Create animation and buttons using symbols
* Modify HTML export settings to create files that match the format of the HTML editor application you use

I sat in Kevin's desktop publishing class at Silicon Valley College and was very impressed at his thorough knowledge of Photoshop and Quark Xpress. He understood the technical background of these programs deeply, and was able to focus and teach the lessons efficiently. Kevin maintained a very professional attitude, and stayed on topic at all times. Kevin used the class time to maximize the lessons and amount of information he had to teach in a very short period.

Dave was very knowledgeable in teaching the 3 day Dreamweaver CS4 class. He answered our questions very thoroughly and many times he use examples. He taught with the book as well as add a few subjects not found in the book. The Adobe book was unique in some of the examples that I had not seen in other books about Dreamweaver CS4. Thanks Dave
