Intro to Basic Digital Photo Editing Using Picasa for Mac OSX

Learn why so many Mac owners are abandoning iPhoto in favor of Picasa.

Picasa is an award-winning photo management and editing software you can download at no charge.

If you already know how to use your camera and transfer photo files to the computer then we'll go straight into Picasa to open and edit digital photo files.

If you need to learn how to use your camera first, we'll start there and move on to Picasa afterwards.

We will download and install, then use Picasa to instantly locate and organize all the pictures on your computer, edit your photos, add special effects, write captions, share your photos via e-mail, make slide shows and burn them to disks, create movies, print standard or custom sizes, order prints, gifts and books, create desktop pictures or screensavers, and create collages.

If you already have an email account set up and know how to use it and if you can navigate quickly & confidently through Mac OSX, find, open & save files & move files to & from storage disks that is great - otherwise we'll cover those issues first and then move into Picasa.

Picasa only works with Macs that have Intel processors and with OSX so be sure your equipment qualifies.

You sit at your computer and I sit to the side, coaching you as we go at YOUR pace. You don't have to fit it all into just one session unless that is your natural pace.
