Hands-On Pizza

Iole Aguero shares an evening of fine Italian cooking as she presents her flavorful Pizza class. Students will take part in preparing 4 mouth watering pizzas. On the menu is Pizza Margherita with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil: Pizza with cherry tomatoes and basil; Prosciutto and arugula Pizza; assorted roasted vegetables and goat cheese pizza. You will be taken by the robust flavors of Southern Italy, in each pizza. Everyone will take home dough for a 17-inch pizza. You won’t want to miss this one! Iole Aguero credits her love affair with fine Italian cooking to the teachings of her mother in her homeland of southern Italy. After many years of refining her cooking techniques in the United States and on numerous return trips to Italy, Iole teaches her sensational Italian recipes here and in her travels. Note: All guests to the YMCA must supply a photo ID at entrance. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the class with current ID. Class held in the kitchen. Taught by Iole Aguero.
