Social Ballroom Dancing Classes

In these classes, you will be learning one of the American Style dances, great for going out social dancing, for weddings and parties. Each four week class class covers a different dance. I also have an optional “field trip” every other month to go out together and practice what we’re learning. It’s a great way to reinforce new material and have fun at the same time! I’ll make announcements in class in advance to let you know where and when.

If you have to miss a class, feel like you need a little extra help, or want to accelerate your learning I am available for private lessons. I’ll be happy to schedule an appointment for a private lesson with you either in Pacifica or San Francisco.

I’ll start the class off with some warm up music so you can review what you learned the previous week, and discover places where you might have some questions. Next we’ll review the previous material and then learn new things. I cover the basics for everyone and then I teach some more intricate moves for those who have more dance experience. Please feel free to ask me questions. If you have a question, chances are someone else does too! I often have students of all levels take the class so it’s important not to compare yourself to others. Like all new skills, it just takes a bit of time and effort. Don’t forget to have fun with it!
