Portland needs more good Ballroom and Latin instructors to increase the level and popularity of dancing in the Northwest, so spend your time doing what you love to do and make money at the same time.
Portland Dancesport is offering a free 1 1/2 hour workshop for potential Teacher Trainees. Come learn about what it takes to be an instructor and also experience a 45 minute long Teacher Training session for FREE. There’s no obligation.
If accepted, Instructors will be trained over a 9 month period after which time they may apply for a position at Portland Dancesport or become a freelance instructor.
The workshop and teacher training program will be instructed by Rebecca Bishop. Her extensive experience makes her the ideal person to train new dance instructors and guarantees that you are trained right the first time. For more on Rebecca see:

Rebecca is highly knowledgeable in all aspects of dance. Her group classes are fun and relaxed, but if you really want to fast track your learning, private lessons are the way to go. She has this ability to pass along a ton of information in a practical way. My confidence in dance has grown greatly since learning with Rebecca.
