Tahitian Dance- Intermediate/ Advanced
This class will go over basic tahitian dance drills and warm-ups. Students will also learn choreography to the rhythms of the toere, pahu, and fakete! Students will be exposed to popular and traditional aparimas and drum oteas or drum solos as well as learn exciting new choreography that incorporates traditional and modern elements. Great for fitness and fun!

I've been exposed to the Hawaiian culture since I was little but dancing hula never interested me. That was until I met Aiwa from Polynesian Party Planners. She is such a dedicated instructor with spunk, ingenuity and talent. If you saw her dance that would be enough to inspire you to want to learn the ancient dance of hula. And her Tahitian is the best I've ever seen!
In just a year and a half she has taught me so much and it has been a privilege to work with her. But be prepared to work because her choreography is anything but boring.
