HUNGRY FOR MOVEMENT AND CREATIVE COMMUNITY IN YOUR LIFE?
You are invited to Wassa Dance!
This unique Afro-fusion dance class melds elemental, poly-rhythmic movement and music into a joyful mix designed along a cardiovascular curve for fitness. Open minded
movers at all levels of experience are invited to explore the benefits of integrating rhythm, breath, imagination and a playful deep focus.
The choreography is deceptively simple. New students can pick it up with ease. Experienced dancers still find new challenges and unexpected depths, even after years of participation.
Great music is an essential part and muse for every class. Ages range from teens to septuagenarians. New students and drop ins are always welcome!
WASSA’S MORNING & EVENING CLASSES
Morning classes in Studio 1 are characterized by larger
and more sustained movement designed to awaken and
expand you—a great way to start the day. The evening
class in the intimate Studio 3 focuses on deeper internal
connections, personal technique and movement
designed for the energetic transition from day to night.

Review of Wassa Dance - Move in the Heart of Rhythm, April 29, 2008
I have been studying with Lara for six years. She's an inspiration to learn with. Her deep knowledge of the human body, dance, music and creating a welcoming, diverse dance community comes through in every class. She is one of Seattle's best dance teachers - a true original and a gift with a heart of gold.
