The martial art Ki-Aikido utilizes powerful flowing moves that defuse and redirect an attack by working with the opponent’s force. The techniques “unbalance” the opponent and lead them to the ground in a pin or a roll (participants learn to fall safely by rolling with the momentum of the throw).
Aikido does not rely on size or strength; the art provides an excellent self-defense practice for women and men of all ages
More than a martial art, the mind/body coordination practice of Ki-Aikido develops physical and mental balance, flexibility, and focus for handling the challenges of everyday life
