Molly McClellan's (Kucmerowski) love for dance has guided her all her life. Beginning her dance studies at a young age, she hasn't stopped since. Molly began her belly dance training in South Florida, studying under Maja, girl from the Nile (sponsor of Spirit of the Tribes), and was hooked. She continued her studies after leaving South Florida, when she moved to New Orleans and studied under Megha Gavin, the director of Devyani, a certified teacher, and partner with Carolena Nericcio of FatChanceBellyDance, in the American Tribal Style (ATS) format. Molly danced as a member of the "Daughters of Devi" until Megha left New Orleans in September of 2003. After Megha left, the remaining members of Devyani formed TribalTique tribal Dance Company, where Molly danced with them until she moved to Denver in June 2004. Once in Denver, Molly met Julia DiVerdi and in the Summer of 2004 they joined forces to create a new experiment in Tribal Belly Dance, TribalTique. The two have been an unstoppable force not only in the Colorado belly dance scene, but also nationally, teaching and performing at events country-wide. Molly has been in the local area performing solo and with TribalTique for almost 6 years. She also is a much sought-after instructor who has taught sold out workshops locally and at national events such as Tribal Fest. Always thirsty for knowledge and technique, Molly has studied with FatChanceBellyDance, Jill Parker and Ultra Gypsy, Aisha Ali, Urban Tribal, Rachel Brice, Suzanna Del Vecchio, and UNMATA, to name a few and considers herself to be an eternal student. Molly has also completed the General Skills Certification with Carolena Nericcio of FatChanceBellyDance. Molly has recently graduated from CorePower Yoga's Teacher Training and has completed her Yoga Alliance Teacher Certification and is an RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher). Molly is constantly inspired by the strength, beauty, camaraderie, fluidity and grace that Tribal Belly Dance encourages and nurtures.
