Review of Don Worth Drum Studio, February 12, 2009
I have been taking drum lessons with Don Worth for a couple of years now, and each lesson has been fun and informative. If there is a specific drum technique I want to work on Don is always ready with instruction and ways to practice. If I have no set goal in mind he is good at leading the lesson and helping me get to the next step.
When I took my first lessons with Don I had been playing drums for about a year. I learned more in my first few lessons, than I had in the previous year with a different teacher. Every question I have ever had about drums Don can answer, and explain in a way that is easy to understand. Great for all levels of drummers. Don has not only taught me how to play the drums but the congas as well. If it is percussion Don knows it, can play it, and can teach it.
I would highly recommend Don worth. He has helped me immensely in my drumming and I have no doubt he can do the same for you.

Review of Don Worth, March 13, 2009
The amazing thing about taking lessons from Don is - He is truly a drummer’s drummer. I have watched him work with a 6 six year old girl; teaching her how to count quarter notes and then eights. Then move to a semi pro drummer with a college degree in music and adjust his left hand thumb position to clean up inverted 6 stroke paradiddles. (That was me) If you play, you are a drummer and Don speaks drumming to every student.
Seriously - There is not a style of drumming that you can’t learn from Don. I have taken lessons and worked with Don for thirty years. As a new student he taught me how to hold sticks and count. In high school and college, we worked on brushes, mallets and odd meters - orchestral, jazz and solo rudimental drumming. As a pro we work on technique and inspiration.
If you are looking for a new teacher, or are considering a change - I would, with out reservations, recommend you talk to Don.The amazing thing about taking lessons from Don is - He is truly a drummer’s drummer.
