Review of Double Bass Drumming Class, February 03, 2009
I must say that Chase is an awsome teacher. He went through each excercise with every individual in the class to insure that we all understood our practice assignment for the week. The following week was fun to show how we've progressed. The great part of the class was seeing how everything could be applied. He was able to help me with my technique to improve my speed, strength, and evenness. It's improved my confidence in my abilities and made drumming so much more fun without being frustrated all the time. It was such a blast that I'm considering taking the class again.
Thanks again,

Review of Double Bass Drumming Class, January 28, 2009
Recently, I joined Chase Culp's class on using the double bass pedal. I've always wanted to use one. He first showed us the basics, and let everyone play what we learned, and we played new things step by step. We learned very easily and improved our skills. We always did the rudiments, which is good to do first. When someone messed up, Chase let the person play a little easier way so they could get it. He let us do some fun stuff, he gave us some facts, and stories. Chase is a very good teacher because he helps you understand, and he breaks down hard rhythms into easy, slow ones. He is very fun to practice with. He knows his licks and chops. And yes you SHOULD take this class.
