The basics--proper stick and mallet technique, stick control, rudiments, tempo, posture and muscle development techniques--are stressed first and most importantly. Eric also covers the musicality of drumming, dynamics and finesse. These make the difference between a drummer and a complete musician. Students are also encouraged to play with CDs of their favorite music. Drumming should always be fun and motivating!
