Born and raised in North Dakota in the country, I found that I really came to love old time music...country gospel and bluegrass festivals. Classical start up but influenced by those jam sessions at a coffee house or barn festivals. I started teaching over 10 years ago there in the hills. Later on I moved to Washington where I met my husband. Still recording music and teaching and loving it.
