"Achieving and Managing a Healthy Body Weight for Life" is a one-hour mini seminar. Carrying extra body weight is linked to a multiple chronic medical conditions that are preventable.
When you are interested in losing weight as your goal, you need to be aware and underastand all "fitness vital signs" that determine health, fitness, functional ability and performance. At the end of the session participants will understand BMI, desirable circumference measurement for health, waist-to-hip ratio, body composition, what your lipid profile (LDL, HDL, Total Cholesterol, Triglycerides) tells us about your body and what your initial goal needs to include to, not just lower body weight, but also body fat, fat distribution, improving lipid profile through exercise and much more. This seminar is not an exercise program, but about tackling your weight loss program and initiative smart with knowledge that helps participants embrace healthy lifestyle habits that include physical activity and porposeful exercise in daily life for lifelong wellness.
