Hoopdancing combines cardio and ab exercises with the fun of hula hooping.

Hoopdancing is playful, dynamic and personally empowering for:
o women and men of all body types and fitness levels from ages 9-99
o people seeking fun, cardio exercise while listening to pop, hip-hop, world music
o couples who want to laugh, play and burn calories on date night
o parents and children (over 9 years old) who want to bond over a fun activity

You will learn hoopdance fundamentals like hooping around the waist, torso and arms, as well as basic hoop tricks. With lots of detailed instruction and one-on-one attention, you’ll improve your balance, strengthen your core, build coordination and gain confidence.

What’s all the Hoopla?
Tone your tummy while listening to great tunes. Explore a new hobby in 2009. Tap into your creative side. Get out of a rut and get fit. Stop virtual hooping on the Wii and start actually hooping with friends!

You will learn hoopdance fundamentals like hooping around the waist, torso and arms, as well as basic hoop tricks. With lots of detailed instruction and one-on-one attention, you'll improve your balance, strengthen your core, build coordination and gain confidence. Pre-registration required, $120/per person/six week session. Hoops provided.

Private Individual Instruction:
Having a hard time keeping the hoop spinning? Struggling with a specific hoop trick? Want to move to the next level? Private Hoop instruction provides focused attention to your goals. For a small additional fee, come with a friend and share the experience and the cost! Hoops provided.

Private Group Instruction:
Perfect for a group of friends or co-workers who want to experience Hoopla without committing to a six-week course. Hoops provided.

    Anne's class is a blast. She is a great teacher and really knows how to combine fun and exercise for people at all levels of fitness and talent. I would recommend her class to anyone who is looking for a new way to burn off some calories.

    Anne made this a really good experience. Since I'm not exceptionally coordinated, this could have been unpleasant. But it was fun! I laughed, I dropped my hoop, I picked myself back up and I learned to do this (at least a little!) It was a great workout and Anne is great with all skill levels and all ages, and has proved that anyone can do this and have a good time. No toning class was ever this fun.
