French Dagger

In a few fencing salles of the 19th Century and later, more than the classical weapons of foil, dueling sword and sabre were taught. The French developed a system of dagger fencing heavily influenced by their theory and practice of foil. Our method of dagger taught at the Salle Saint-George comes down to us from Maitre Marcel Cabijos, an internationally acknowledged expert of his day.
