The Stonefly Maidens put on two casting clinics every year.
In the spring we put on a clinic for both men and women, and charge for classes. All teachers are FFF-certified casting instructors and the student to teacher ratio is kept at 5:1 or less. In the spring we put on a clinic for both men and women, and charge for classes. All teachers are FFF-certified casting instructors and the student to teacher ratio is kept at 5:1 or less. The proceeds from this clinic go to charity. This year, 2009, we will be donating the money to Reel Recovery and Casting for Recovery, 2 programs that put on free weekend fly fishing retreats for cancer survivors.
