I teach all ages from 4 years old on up, beginners through advanced. With an abundance of patience and 30 years of teaching experience privately and at the university level, I am a flexible teacher able to work with almost anyone of any age.

Lessons are shaped to the needs of the student, so there is no particular formula for lessons.

Lessons are weekly, or for the truly ambitious, twice weekly. The fees for lessons are $25.00, $37.00, and $50.00 for 1/2, 3/4 and 1 hour lessons, respectively.

For high schoolers and advanced middle-schoolers, I direct the Marylhurst University Flute Choir. This is a nice option when school band is too easy or unavailable. I spend a lot of time working on accuracy in tuning and listening.

I also teach recorder for beginners and intermediate students.
