Learn Japanese language in a relaxed, interactive environment from an experienced instructor. Shigeki has taught this class at the ASUW Experimental College for 23 years! Section 1 emphasizes conversational skills valuable for travelers to Japan, people with business contacts in Japan or those who simply have an interest in the language and culture of Japan. Students learn written hiragana. Section 2 is for those who have completed Section 1 or who have equivalent skills. Section 2 emphasizes intensive conversation skills and the study of written katakana and simple kanji. Book and tape are included in the price of the class.

I took this class at the Experimental College by Professor Gancarz. We paintied using wax! The teacher also helped me with framing my art. I highly recommend this course to anyone.

I saw this class advertised in the ex. college catalog. I thought why not give it a try. I always wanted to try painting. I am so glad I took this class. The intructor Georgetta was so helpful. I actually did four paintings I love! If you want a great instructor with experience and a fun class this is the one!
