Sandrine is the founder and Principal French teacher at Learn French New York. Born in the North-Western part of France (Bretagne), she is classified and signified as a native speaker. She has been teaching French since 1994. In 1999, she came to NYC and taught French as a second language to individuals of all ages and all levels. Sandrine received a Masters Degree in French along with the Daefle (diplome d'enseignement du francais langue etrangere) while employed at NYU teaching a program called "Speaking Freely".

Sandrine is registered as a Language Teacher in the French Education Ministry and has spent the past 14 years designing and implementing a specialized curriculum based on her extensive personal experiences in both France and the U.S.

Having taught children and adults both in France and New York, she is patient, flexible and willing to help you achieve your educational goals. Sandrine is the main teacher but other teachers are also available for classes.

All of our teachers are certified and native French speakers, they all have been trained by Sandrine. With an energetic, enthusiastic and unyielding commitment to educating children and adults, all of our teachers have proven to have the ability to foster trusting cooperative environment that enables students to reach their full potential. Teachers can design challenging, enriching, and innovative activities that address the diverse interests and needs of students. They also have experience in multicultural and inclusion classrooms.
