Geared toward beginning gardeners, this service provides you with the basic knowledge needed to start a garden and, hopefully, plant the seeds for a fulfilling, lifelong hobby.

We start with a home garden consultation to identify the existing plants in the yard and distinguish between natives, non-natives, and nuisance weeds. Next, we discuss options for garden designs that conform to your vision and your space. Finally, we review basic gardening techniques such as starting seeds, soil amending, fertilizing, watering, composting, transplanting, and maintenance.
