This class covers all five positions of the e minor pentatonic scale, transposing riffs to different keys, applying rhythm exercises, call & response, and improvising in a classroom setting. Although this ten-week class has already started, Lisa Kay Deeter will be offering similar classes in the future. She is able to keep tuition low because she is renting a classroom as opposed to paying for the expenses of an entire building like most schools do. Please check back often.

    It is unusual to find a teacher who knows her instrument as well as Lisa who also has the patience for young kids just starting out. Her knowledge of theory is excellent. She also is a really accomplished blues guitarist. Check her out and pay attention you will learn a lot!
