Blue Bear offers group class in both acoustic and electric guitar. On the acoustic side there are classes ranging from square one beginner level up through high-intermediate level, with many small increments along the way. The emphasis is on developing rhythm playing skills and building a song repertoire. Some scale work and fingerpicking is included. Tab and chord charts are used, not standard music notation. Class size is limited to 7, though we have less expensive Big Group class options as well. Classes offered quarterly throughout the year - 10 weeks, one hour per week.
