The main goal of my curriculum is to make the guitar easier than was once thought! I have found a way to couple music theory with guitar techniques using practical and useful methods. From warm-ups to practice techniques to performance ideas we will cover ALL the bases without avoiding any of the necessary tools that some might leave out creating 'holes' or gaps in our ability.
I believe in starting with ONE scale and FIVE chords. These FIVE chords and ONE scale are the genesis to understanding music theory and how it applies to the guitar. within hours you will be able to move around the guitar better than you thought you could! Chord books and posters only confuse learners and take up brain space where true musical navigation skills should live!
The guitar is also rich in history and contains a lot of elements that can be applied with a little practice!

This is a music lovers instrument and is closer to your command than you might think...

Review of Keith Wright, October 17, 2009

Keith does a fantastic job. Even though (as far as I can tell) he has a pretty large number of students, he gives everyone a unique experience and path path for progression. It's common to hear something like, "I think for someone like you we should start moving in this direction." I have worked with other teachers before and it seems like many of them try to apply the same exact methodology for all of their students.

Also, the way Keith explains things, complex or not, blends theory and practical application with a perfect ratio. You how to play things, but more importantly *why* to play them. I feel like I have been able to progress quite a bit in a fairly short period of time without monotonous memorization.

Keith has a great attitude about music and really goes the extra mile to sweep up his students with that enthusiasm.
