This Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Course is designed to meet OSHA requirements when paired with site-specific bloodborne pathogens training, If required by employer a written skills test will be included.
To meet OSHA regulation, you must take a bloodborne pathogens course every year. A course completion card is included with the workbook.
Participants learn how to protect themselves from bloodborne pathogens in the workplace, how to act when exposed to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace, how to use the right steps to clean themselves and the area when exposed to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace, how to report any exposure to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace.
The course covers the general OSHA Standard for first-time or renewal bloodborne pathogens training for anyone with a reasonable chance for occupational exposure to blood or blood-containing materials.

$25 per student, includes student workbook(minimum 3 participants per mobile class), individual training is available. The course includes a student manual.
TeachStreet Special: $15 per student for groups of 6 participants or more and when adding this course to any other Heartsaver course
AHA recommended course time: 1 to 1.5 hours.
All AHA Heartsaver courses are available for on-site training at your place of business or your living room.
All you need is a TV or in-focus type equipment with DVD capability.
