Many people interested in learning about jewelry making are unsure where to start. Silver soldering is unquestionably the technique to learn First!
This is a Free, 2-hour class that will introduce you to a jewelry makers “central skill” working hands-on in a small, jewelry production studio. You may choose the day, Mon. to Fri. and the starting time, 11AM to 5PM. Normally 1 week prior notice is required for this class.
You’ll work with sterling silver as you learn about different torches, gases and solders. I’ll demonstrate several soldering techniques... then we’ll switch chairs and you’ll be soldering in no time!
My wish is to give persons a real world experience doing a process that’s key to making jewelry. Once you learn to solder many jewelry projects become possible. Spend a couple hours using a jewelers torch and I’ll bet you’ll start thinking of lots of things to make just as I did once upon a time.
Materials are Free too!
I also teach another -more advanced- “Silver Soldering #2” class that’s full of information to compliment your jewelry making efforts.
Persons under 18 yrs. of age need signed parental permission to take this class.

Mr. Paille is a superb teacher. He knows the art of jewelry making that is based on many years of professional experience and study. He is a patient but exacting teacher. Would I take more classes from Mr. Paille? Absolutely!

Richard is incredibly knowledible about jewelry, the tools needed and how to order them. He carefully taught me all that I had asked for and much much more. His workshop is neat, clean and well equiped. We shared a very enjoyable time together and yet every moment was filled with useful information. He continued to teach even while we ate our lunch.
