Saxophone Lessons

Description

I teach all levels from beginning to advanced saxophones, clarinets and flutes.
You can expect to have some fun and get some challenges by studying with me...I expect students to practice and advance, but am also patient with everyone as we all progress at different rates.
Sometimes advanced students like to just schedule a lesson or two with me, and that is fine also.
We cover everything from classical techniques to jazz improvisation. I always custom tailor every lesson to the individual student's needs and wants.

Pricing Details

I usually like to teach 1 hour lessons, as the time goes by so fast in 1/2 hour lessons that I feel that it's hard to get anything done.
I charge $50 per hour.
For a beginning student that absolutely wants 1/2 hour lessons, we can negotiate.

  You will not be disappointed studing with Barry. He brings to you a wealth of professional on the road experience because he has performed with the big cats in the business. You always get the feeling that he has thought out what works or doesn't work with the student...we all learn a bit differently. I always enjoy the humour and challenges at my sessions with him. For those of you living in the region, you owe it to yourself take a couple of lessons from Barry...check him out.
