Beginning Knitting
Come rediscover what your grandmothers knew--knitting is relaxing, challenging, and fun. This class will focus on the very basic skills. You'll learn how to knit and purl, cast on and bind off, measure gauge, and read basic knitting patterns. You'll learn how to knit and purl, cast on and bind off, measure gauge, and read basic knitting patterns. With these skills, you'll be able to take on your first project, and your instructor will help you get started. Pick from one of our projects (sassy backpack, cozy hat, patterned scarf) or choose your own!
We require pre-registration for all of our classes. To register; you can stop by the store or give us a call at 206-709-0707 with your credit card information. Classes fill up fast and are first come, first serve. Fourteen days notice is required to reschedule or cancel any class for a refund.
