Review of Coaching Performance - for Managers and Supervisors, February 16, 2009
The best thing about Elys is her wonderful ability to connect with any learner - regardless of whether they are novices or subject matter experts. She creates an open, warm and challenging environment where everyone feels that they have something to contribute. As a result, participants leave feeling that their time was well spent and their network of colleagues enriched.

Not only did I learn the subject matter at hand, but I learned much from Elys Brewda on how to teach.
She managed to cover many learning styles, aural, visual, and knesethic because we had so many diverse occupations representated in our Leadership Classes at PLU.
Elys was open to our conversational ideas and worked them into the material she was presenting. She had great handouts for those of us who like to take things home and re-read.
She was personable and warm and inclusive with a great sense of humor. She attempted to forge a friendly atmosphere with her students welcoming us to later send information or experiences that were positive as a result of the classes so that she could enhance further classes she was teaching.
