Capoeira is a martial art created by slaves in Brazil over 400 years ago. Its elements of ritualized combat weave together in an intricate dialogue of movements combined with aspects of self-defense, amazing acrobatics and dance. Training Capoeira improves balance, coordination, flexibility, strength and endurance. In this class, we emphasize developing the skills needed for mastering the fundamental movements of Capoeira. Eager students are also encouraged to learn more advanced kicks, acrobatics and to play accompanying instruments.

I took this class at the Experimental College by Professor Gancarz. We paintied using wax! The teacher also helped me with framing my art. I highly recommend this course to anyone.

I saw this class advertised in the ex. college catalog. I thought why not give it a try. I always wanted to try painting. I am so glad I took this class. The intructor Georgetta was so helpful. I actually did four paintings I love! If you want a great instructor with experience and a fun class this is the one!
