Review of Tai Chi & Qi Gong - Yang Family Traditional, September 23, 2009

My entry into Tai Chi started almost 6 years ago & because of Sifu Viola's motivation, knowledge & skills, I immersed myself into this wonderful art, dropped my other instructors (I had 4 others) & committed myself to Tai Chi, through her exclusively, taking classes 5 days a week for 5 years! We shared something in common, we're both perfectionists, both committed to making ourselves healthier, & both willing to work hard to achieve our goals. She started long before me, has been to China for advanced martial arts studies, & has been blessed by associating with a large dedicated core group of enthusists not found in my area. Sifu Vi adopted traditional Chinese values & pursues instructions of those who originated the strong martial arts systems we have today. She doesn't compromise to make something easier, rather she continues her studies of books, videos, & private instruction in her relentless pursuit of knowledge. It is her vast base of knowledge & willingness to share that impresses me the most. If considering a new instructor for beginning or advanced study, take it from one who knows, "She is the best"!

  • "Traditional training, excellent for all"

Review of Tai Chi & Qi Gong - Yang Family Traditional, September 23, 2009

V and I trained for years together under our Sifu in Eugene, Oregon. She has blossomed into an excellent teacher in her own right. She knows when the student needs a western explanation or a Chinese vagueness to keep one on the path.

She has the depth of training to keep you working for a life time but remembers what it was like to be just starting out. An excellent first teacher or someone to help you continue studies you started elsewhere.
