Ongoing free class every Monday at 6:30 pm. Bring more peace and clarity to your life with weekly classes that give you tools to make your life work better for you. The focus is to help you start and maintain a daily meditation practice, using a simple yet effective meditation that allows you to be able shift your attention away from the thinking mind, and relax and enjoy life more.
Once you do the meditation daily for a period of time, you will be invited to a second class, where you learn a meditation which allows you to be in touch with your feelings. Being able to feel your feelings allows you to fully enjoy the pleasant feelings, and not be stuck in the unpleasant ones.
The approach is simple, practical, and free of religious and spiritual dogma and jargon. The classes, meditational practices, and your sincere intention to become more aware, work together to melt away tensions and anxieties, leaving you with a more relaxed and satisfying life.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow yourself time to settle in before class starts. People who arrive late will not be able to participate, as the meditation instructions are given at the beginning and arriving late is disruptive to the class.
You are welcome to come to class, or, if you’d like further information before attending, please go to www.thewayofseeing.com, or send us an email at meditation@thewayofseeing.com
There is no charge for any of the classes.

Review of Free Meditation Classes in Seattle, October 28, 2008
This meditation class isn’t about just finding inner peace or some bullshit like that, it’s more about experiencing a much deeper awareness or clarity in your day-to-day life. This challenging class has been the most positive things I’ve done for myself because I now investigate and navigate myself through an emotional world I was absolutely separated from. I have felt some peace, deep anger, fear and terror, sadness, and almost unbearable pain. These were feelings that I was totally unconscious of—feelings I had shut away for years—and now I can gently let some of them go. My depression, my acting-out on my anger, my loneliness and my social anxiety are all things of the past. I highly recommend this class to anybody interested in finding a framework for gently doing some serious self-investigation.

Review of Free Meditation Classes in Seattle, October 27, 2008
I have been attending this meditation class for the past 4 months and have found it to be very helpful in quieting my mind and in making me more present in my daily life. The instructors are gentle and very helpful. The class is free (although donations are accepted). There is no pressure, the setting is peaceful and I recommend this class to anyone who is interested in living a calmer, more perceptive life.
