Using various patinas and color treatments that the
instructor has incorporated in his own work, you will create
panels or small objects employing the wide variety of
color possibilities. After demonstrating the different hot
and cold techniques, you will be encouraged to develop
your own compositions and experiment with combining
varying colors and processes. This class is suited for
students new to working with metal that are interested
in its color possibilities and
painterly qualities, as well as
experienced metal workers
that want to apply it to
existing metal sculptures or
objects. Prerequisite: None
