Review of Jane Carter Studio, January 24, 2009

    Dear Jane,

This is Ravshan Dalimov, an exchange student who studied in the UW during
1990-1991 under an exchange program of the Seattle-Tashkent sister
city committee program. And you hosted me at your house.

I am really glad I was able to find you on the web, and decided to
write you a letter with thanks for what you did to me with all peoples
involved during those years - for education and English.

I was not speaking to you now for 5 years, and having this chance let
me wish you continuous success and prosperous life in this stormy
life, as it is right now.

I am OK, have 3 kids, a house, apartment, small feeding business etc.
I was heavily involved in business, as you might remember (since 1991
    till 2000).
Since 2000 I took academic career, defended tho thesises and became
finally professor in Economics. I still can't believe myself
that anything like this may take place in my life, since I was having
Master in Physics, then became entrepreneur, but it turned out to be
    really really different.

Theme of my thesis (defended in March 2008) was "Modelling
International Economic Integration and Regional Economic Development",
where I finally implemented all my skills and knowledge of Physics and
English acquired in the UW. By the way, I even wrote a book, which
seems to have an interest on the web: "Modelling International
Economic Integration and Regional Economic Integration: an Oscillation
Theory Approach". I was promised to have free copies and when this is
to happen, I will send you one.

Hope you and Dick are OK too. Please accept my deep greetings, and if you see
anyone from "Seattle-Tashkent" Sister Committee, please pass them my
    deep gratitudes.

I do not know if you are democrat or republican: let me also wish that
your new president B.Obama will help to sort many problems in the US
    and abroad.

My kind and warmest regards to you and Dick.
    Staying truly yours
    Ravshan
