Tom is an excellent composition teacher. He is proficient in the latest techniques. Although composing is a highly personal art, Tom is able to work with any style and has a keen sense of timing and balance.

Review of Tom Baker, September 10, 2009
Tom is great teacher who clearly enjoys his work. During instruction he is very involved with you (the student) to make sure you grasp the ideas he thinks that you need to play and understand the piece. He is also very flexible in his teaching approach and allows you to steer your lessons toward your needs. Though he is light years ahead of me I still feel comfortable playing in front of him.
