Dog Training Private Lessons New York City

One-on-one consultations for dog training are available for basic manners and behavior problem solving. These lessons can be held in your home or at our facilities in New York City. Each one hour lesson is $150. A package of three private lessons (purchased on the same day) is $400, a savings of $50. Three packs must be used within six months of purchase. Appointments are available 7 days a week. All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Changes or cancellations in less than 24 hours can not be accomodated and will be charged the full lesson fee.

We offer group instruction and private lessons for teaching basic manners to puppies, adolescents and adults, behavior problem solving, tricks, agility and preparation for therapy dog certification. There is always an emphasis on helping people develop a loving, cooperative relationship between themselves and their canine companions.

Andrea Arden currently appears on Animal Planet's Underdog to Wonderdog, Dogs101 and Cats101. Andrea's credits include being the resident professional trainer and field correspondent for The Pet Department, FX's Emmy award winning daily show about pets. Andrea's appearances also include 20/20, The Today Show, Live with Regis and Kelli, The View, Dateline NBC, CBS News, and CNN as well as numerous other television and radio shows.
Andrea has written four books including Dog Friendly Dog Training (IDG, 1999), Train Your Dog the Lazy Way (Macmillan, 1998), The Little Book of Dog Tricks (Howell, 2002) and On the Road With Your Pet (Fodor's, 1998). She is the behavior columnist for The New York Dog magazine, has been the behavior columnist for Dog Fancy magazine and is a contributing writer for numerous other dog magazines.
Andrea has served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, is on the Board of Directors of Animal Haven and a Certified Pet Partners Team evaluator for the Delta Society therapy dog program and the AKC's Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test.
