PAINTING CLASSES IN OAKLAND ITALY AND MEXICO:

Oil Painting Classes in West Oakland Studio
I teach oil painting classes Tuesday and Thursday evenings in my Oakland studio from 7 PM to 10:30 PM. These classes are appropriate for beginners and advanced students. We focus on the relationship of contemporary color theory and apply the science of visual perception to the depiction of light and space.
Classes cost $105 a month for once a week and $170 a month for twice a week. Paint, solvent and a live model (half the time) are included in the price.

Outdoor Painting Workshops in Oakland:
These are six hour afternoon workshops on safe, interesting locations in Oakland and the surrounding region. They will occur the third weekends of May, July and August. The workshops will cost $50 a day if you bring all your own equipment and $60 a day if I provide easels, solvent and paint. Exact details to be announced in the Classes section of my Website.

Outdoor Painting Workshops in Italy and Mexico:
These are two week painting expeditions. All meals, accommodations, transportation, easels and paints are provided. Students are immersed in the local culture and gain an in depth understanding of it as well as thorough training in landscape painting. In Mexico we have a number of indigenous models.
