Photography One-on-One Tutoring in Digital or Film Photography

Learn more about your camera and photography from a long time travel photographer. Whether you are just starting out in photography, a long time devotee of the this visual art or someone that is converting from traditional film based photography to digital capture, I can offer you help in attaining your photographic goals.

If you'd like some tutoring on your camera controls or want to brush up on your composition or exposure I can help you. I can also decipher camera manuals, explain camera controls, clear up foggy technical understanding and improve your compositional eye.

I have 10 + years of experience teaching photography to adults and kids and 30+ years in the photography business. I have gone back to doing more travel assignments so my schedule does not allow me to continue teaching in a college and adult education environment but have time between travels to do direct one on one instruction. I enjoy helping others realize their aspirations in photography and creative pursuits.

Photography makes a wonderful regular occupational pursuit for those in need of this type of therapy. I have instructed occupational therapy photography for those recovering from head injuries, learning disabilities, mental health issues, and those needing functional reattachment to life therapy.

I can set up a series of 2-3 hours sessions or half and full day workshop style instruction. Field trips and travel workshops are also a possibility.
