Are you looking for a simple but effective way to import, backup, and organize your digital images? Would you like to streamline the process of making essential adjustments such as white balance, exposure, and simple retouching? If you own any product in Adobe Creative Suite 3, then you already have the means to do all this and much, much more using Adobe Bridge and the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in. Topics for Adobe Bridge include importing; assigning metadata, keywords, labels, and ranks to images; sorting and organizing; and configuring and customizing the Bridge interface for your needs. Topics for the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in include understanding the benefits of processing images with ACR, overview of the ACR interface, opening files, and using an intuitive workflow process to make essential corrections to one or more files at a time. As time permits, you will work on your own digital images in addition to assigned classroom work, so please bring several scanned or photographic images to class on a flash drive.
