I obtained my PhD in piano performance and instruction from the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow. For over decade I performed expansively with chamber music instrumentalists and eminent orchestras and conductors as the principal soloist of the Lithuanian State Philharmonic. At the same time I was a Professor of Piano at the State Conservatory in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Review of Classical Piano, September 10, 2009
I know Mr. Stravinsky for many years. A brilliant pianist, who plays music written by great composers of all styles and times, he has a taste, which could be set as a sample to young musician, and let me be honest, not only young!
He teaches students with his soul, not just skills. I had listen to some of them and was really impressed by their excellent performances!
I think, those, who will take lessons from Mr. Stravinsky would be not only lucky, but honored!

Review of Povilas Stravinsky, September 16, 2009
Povilas Stravinsky is quite simply the best piano teacher I have had in my 40 years of studying piano. He will take any student from where he or she is now to a higher lever of performance and understanding of music. In my case, he took me from the level of being a moderately good amateur to the level of professional performer.
As a pianist, Mr. Stravinsky is one of the great keyboard artists of our time. I say this, not just because he is my teacher, but because it is true. I have been a devoted listener to classical music my entire life (beginning at about age 4 or 5) and have heard all of the great performers of the past and present. He is a world-class performer of the same caliber as Arthur Rubinstein, Vladimir Horowitz, Claudio Arrau, Evgeny Kissen, and Emanuel Ax.
